Product Information: Plibrico® SR-68 is a 70% alumina, mullite based, soft, fine-grained phosphate bonded plastic engineered for thin applications and patch/repair of existing linings.   This economical service material has an excellent chemical bond to existing refractory, as well as good corrosion resistance to slags and molten aluminum penetration.   Product advantages include:

  • Soft putty-like consistency for ease of use
  • Chemically bonds to existing refractory for long repair life
  • Good alkali resistance
  • Non-wetting to aluminum
